We love these sippy cups! We started giving this sippy to our 4mo daughter and she learned really quick! They are interchangeable with the nuk wide bottles so it was easy for her to transtion! Easy to clean and if you already use the bottles, its easy to just grab a bottle and lid ring, since the sippy handles fit on the bottles too =] I definantly recomend this sippy!

My daughter was breastfed and hated bottles when I tried to feed her pumped milk or formula. I was nervous that I'd be nursing her exclusively for a year! This cup was the lifesaver! The spout (options are latex or clear silicone) is soft like a bottle nipple which I think is easier for them to get used to versus the hard spout found on toddler sippy cups. She took to this cup instantly and used the handles to feed herself at 5-6 mos. If you are already using Nuk bottles, the spouts are interchangeable with the nipples and the handles snap on/off the bottles as well. You can get away with just buying the replacement spouts and use your own bottles. The only other thing to note is the cup is only 5 ounces, so you might need to transition to a larger cup rather quickly if you have a big eater. It never leaked, especially if you use the disc that covers the bottle mouth when not in use/in diaper bag. The spout flows medium-slow. Fantastic product!!

I purchased and used these cups with both of my little girls. The Nuk cups have a soft spout like a nipple - so they are a great transition cup! Also, when my little girl had an ear infection, she could not drink from a regular cup because it hurt her ears. However, she did just fine with the Nuk Learner Spout cup! Enjoy!
good at first but then ...

My kids love ths cup and I did too ... at first. The spout wears out and then does not fit the cup correctly. The spout also gets sticky and starts to deteriorate the longer you have it. The good thing is the cup never leaked out of the top - however as the spout wore out the lid would not screw on correctly and the cup would leak out of the seam between the spout and the screw top. The air release valve is also poorly placed and it often does not work properly - so the spout sucks in, however it is easy to fix by pulling the spout back out.
If the spout would last longer I would give this cup 5 stars but they do not last long enough and the replacements are too expensive. |
love this sippy

My 6 month old daughter kept getting drowned by her sippy cups and I was just getting fusterated. One day at the grocery store I saw this sippy and figured I'd give it a try. She has used the NUK bottles since the day she came home from the hospital. I trusted this brand. I have a bunch of the bottles so i figured what's to lose. I handed her the sippy; she took it and did not choke or get too much. I did have problems finding just the sippy nipple, but found it online and ordered a bunch. This is a great learning product.
