Awesome bottles for switching between bottles and breastfeeding!

Reviewer: mara630,
These bottles are great. My little girl (who was in the NICU for the first week b/c of digestion issues) seems to like these nipples most of all. She also rarely spits up. I tried many other, more expensive bottles and these were by far the best. I would recommend these to anyone who switches between bottles and breastfeeding as there has been no "confusion" for the baby. I also really like the Platex Drop-Ins but the measurements are not accurate.
Not a good bottle for breastfed babies

I registered for these after a friend recommended them to me. They were really cute, and unlike anything I'd seen. Breastfeeding was going great, then, after 8 weeks at home, I went back to work. This is when our troubles began. All day she was fed with this bottle, and developed horrible nipple confusion. To the point that I had to resort to exclusively pumping, as she refused to latch on the breast. They worked okay, and the nipple never collapsed, except when they weren't properly pulled through the cap (user error.... The bottoms did start to leak a bit around 10 months of age, or 8 months of use. They were kind of a pain to clean. I can't say for sure that the bottle caused n.c., but I've heard of many women who successfully worked, and breastfed using the BornFree, Avent, and Dr.Browns bottles.
If your baby won't take a bottle...TRY THIS BOTTLE!

Truly a great product. I thought my 4 month old son just simply wasn't learning how to take a bottle. We tried Philips Avent, Medela, and primarily First Years Breastflow without an inkling of cooperation from our baby. He would cry and get frustrated no matter what we did (and we truly tried everything we could, about everyday for TWO MONTHS)! I was ecstatic when he took this bottle as soon as I put it in his mouth, drank 4 oz., and when I went to refill the bottle he was very upset that I took it away from him. He drank 3 more oz. and happily drifted off to sleep. Only those that have fought with a bottle can understand what a relief it is to now have that option if Mom is away. I sure wish I had found this bottle sooner. Thanks MAM!
Great bottle for our picky eater!

We are really love our MAM bottles. Our 4 month old breast-fed baby girl was VERY picky when it came to eating from a bottle. She did pretty good on the 4 oz Avent bottles (we used these for her older sister), but when it was time to get a bigger bottle I decided to go with MAM. She seemed to like thrir pacifiers, so the bottles were an easy choice. Plus they are really cute too. She took to them right away and we haven't looked back! Great bottle at a great price, and easy to clean. I definately will buy more!
Awesome Bottles & SAFE Too!

We had been using Avent bottles with our daughter since she was 4 weeks old, and they were OK, but when she started eating more than 4 oz at a time we started looking for a larger bottle. After doing some research online, I decided to switch her from Avent altogether because they are a little sketchy on the ingredients in their bottles: they were one of the last companies to remove BPA despite consumer protests and they don't divulge whether or not their current products contain phthalates or PVC. I saw the MAM bottles on a Safe Products list on [...], so I looked into them and liked what I saw: not only are they BPA, PVC, and phthalate free, but they always have been, and the company does not and has never used any of these harmful ingredients in any of their plastic baby products. I feel more comfortable giving my business to a company that truly has children's safety in mind, and I'm glad I did - not only are these bottles safe, but they're affordable and my baby loves them! She never gets gas anymore like she did with the Avent bottles and she seems comfortable and content after a feeding. They are also easy to clean and sterilize, and we've never had any leaks with them (our Avent bottles would sometimes leak for no real reason). Not to mention, they're really cute!! I would highly recommend these bottles to anyone looking for a safe, affordable, and adorable option :)
