| This is a good compartment plate. It is VERY shallow though. That's great for storage, but may be trouble if you have a lot of food. Also, the two side sections may be too small for some. The non-slip bottom is nice. Good for a beginner eater, but probably not going to work once he gets older. |

| My 12 month old immediately picked this dish up with one hand the first time I used it. She also pushes it around her high chair tray a lot. I only kept the plate because the divided sections come in handy. However, we have much less expensive divided dishes that are better. Although I really wanted to like this plate, it was not worth the money. |

| I loved the style of this plate! However, my 2 year old has a very hard time "chasing" her food with the fork or spoon. Due to the short height and rounded edges all the food (specially like rice) ends out of the plate. I think it is nice for younger babies doing finger foods, but not good for training toddlers to use utensils. |

| This is my last-reached for plate. I think the design around the bottom w/the grip is nice, and I've never had a problem with my daughter picking it up, but otherwise is a waste. The whole plate is small and the compartments are very small. There is a lot of wasted space on the plate because of the design. they probably could have used the same design at the base and yet changed the internal compartments and given you at least 4 separate spots for food (which is very important for a toddler who does not like different foods touching). And honestly, my toddler has an easier time getting food out of bowls or plates with straight sides rather than sloped, curving sides. I wouldn't buy this plate again. |

| Yes, this plate can be picked up, but it's much harder to pick up than most and it won't slide around on the table. When we first tried using it my daughter (then 9 or 10 months) was also just interested in picking it up and dumping it, but we put it away for a little while and brought it back out when she was more interested in the food (11 or 12 months) and since then she hasn't done it anymore. I'm not sure if there are any plates out there that can truly deter a determined 10 month old! Since the profile is so low to the table and there's no rim for her to grab, she doesn't even think about it as long as she's got food. She only turns it over when it's empty. So for those of you who have had trouble, try with a slightly older baby. The size is great for a younger toddler, it's perfect for finger foods, the design is cute and it cleans up easily. I especially like the separated compartments and the price is great compared to many of the alternatives. We have two now. |
