| I love this Product. I have a "nearly" two year old who loves to dump his bowls. I have tried several other products as this one is a bit pricey, however, I ended up buying more as they are the only one's my son can not manage to move from the table. I love that it stay's put when he is eating things like beans that would typically tip other bowls. the only negative I have to say the "spill Catcher" component is pretty useless unless they are still in a high chair where they would be close enough to it, but for me it was not important hence my high rating... |
Works for me!

My 16 month old really wants to self feed. Received this about a week ago and have used it for oatmeal and cereal and applesauce. It sticks to her tray like a rock and although she plays a bit with the spill catcher, still can't get the bowl off. Having the bowl fixed in place makes it much easier for her to scoop up the food with her spoon. Plus, cute colors and modern design. Read the reviews that it doesn't do well in the dishwasher but as I'm using it pretty much every meal, I just handwash it. That's what we do with almost all plastic items anyway, including her bottles and pump parts back when we used those; I just don't trust plastic to hold up in a dishwasher's heat.
We have a few other Boon items, including a cute bath toy. They all seem really sturdy and well-designed. |

| The suction is pretty good especially if you wet it. Hand-washed and it cleans quickly. However, the extra "catcher" acts as a slingshot and creates a much bigger mess. Maybe the 'newness' will wear off and it will work as described, but for now it's more of a toy. But I would definitely recommend it, just don't expect it to be a cure all for mealtime. |
HALLELUJAH! Finally, a bowl that sticks!

After trying the Munchkin Three Stay Put Suction Bowl 3-Pack which DID NOT STICK AT ALL and the waaaay more expensive (although not technically a baby product) Large Sticky Bowl which DID NOT STAY STUCK AT ALL (although it did work as intended for keeping a bowl steady), I was about to give up hope.
Then I tried the Boon Catch Bowl.
And the bowl stayed stuck.
Through lunch.
With my 16mo toddler almost-constantly pulling at it (he knew he could get the other bowls off).

That said, I don't yet see much use in the "spill catcher" part of it--maybe once my son starts eating with one hand more than the other...but for now, it's just more of a handle for him to play with.
But I still HIGHLY RECOMMEND this bowl and am happy to give it five stars. |
Holds good suction but wears off during meal

| I had read so many reviews of different suction bowls and the Boon seemed to be the winner. My 22-month old son is very strong and can get anything he wants opened or pulled apart. This bowl works great initially and sticks very well. It does wear off during the meal time and we have to restick it. I can't complain because the suction is really great initially. We use it to take out to restaurants and it is our main bowl for him at meal times. I'm not really sure what the "catcher" part is to catch. Is there a certain positioning of the bowl that works better for the "catcher"? |
